summer time

Good Morning,
This whole week has been over 100 degrees... so Summer is finally here this Hot dessert heat that the Tri-Citys is known for is here...loving it I love it Hot and Beautiful. We have a basement in our Home with old windows so this week its about getting the Holes around the windows Dug, so that we can get our new windows in. It is going to be so nice to have more Light down there... in the now man cave.

Getting projects and things cleaned up around here and improvements to your Home always makes you feel good. I like new and improved whenever possible. Kids have been keeping busy with there friends.. it seems there is always extra kids around on a daily basis. we've been putting them to work as well as pulling weeds, sweeping, Digging... whatever needs to be done, and then Brian pays them ...Teens love money so you might as well put them to work since there always at your house, make them work for food..lol

My middle son said to me yesterday mom I'm definitely going to College, because I don't want to be a Construction worker digging dirt all day. My kids hate Labor work so I keep telling them that they better not waste there Brain... because if they do this is what they will have to do is labor jobs to pay the bills. so hopefully this week of dirt and digging will give them a wake up call yet once again to use there Brain and go to College, and then hire out the projects that they don't want to do..money gives you power to get things done without having to do them yourself.

So we are hiring My Sons friend to dig the holes, because he really needs the money and begged for the job, and my kids are hanging out watching him, and shoveling once in awhile..and saying this is hard work in the 100 degree weather. luckily where he is digging there is shade.

So life is full and we are all doing what we do to get through the rest of the Summer, going to Silver wood Theme Park, once these window projects are done, without Brian, because his job is so busy hes only been having Sunday off so we will go without him, and are ocean trip hopefully he will get to go. Hes got great job security right now so we got to be grateful for that.

Surviving and making the best of what you have, and still finding my alone time early in the morning.. that is my Survival for the summer, and working out before they even get up, then I can focus on the agenda for the day once Ive nourished my soul, and worked out that's my sanity savor....Moms and dads don't forget to take care of yourself... first then your kids and family. make time for yourself daily spending time with God, Loving yourself, and staying healthy and fit...so important not to forget that. "Selfish equals Self care" Treat yourself first then and only then will you have enough to give. You must fill your cup before you can fill up anyone Else's. Make yourself a priority... if you don't no one else will. Make today a new day for yourself loving, living, and laughing. Don't waste one single moment on anything that doesn't nourish your soul, and Spirit...You deserve the best keep striving for more abundance in all areas of your life. "If not Now then When" Say this to yourself, and make your life excellent today and always you get to create it, and make it happen today.
