Good Morning,
FRIENDS... is what I want to talk about today. Do you ever sit and think about your true friends..WE all think that we have many friends, casual Friends, personal friends, long time friends, family friends, and on and on.
How many of you can honestly say they have a friend that despite what happens in your life that they are a friend that you have for life, and they will except your flaws and all. How many times do you have to put a false way about you just to be accepted by a person you think is a friend. Do you know if you even have a true real authentic friend? That will be with you even through the hard times?
I made a decision in my thirties to no longer worry about impressing people to make them my friend. I made a decision that even if I had to be alone that it was better then having a fake friend. So there was some time in my life that I had to eliminate bad seed friends...as I choose to call them, and when you do that you realize you don't really even miss them, because they were never really truly your friend after all. I decided to look deep within my heart and discover who I truly am as a woman, and began to start loving myself just as I am and something incredible starts to happen when you do that.
It was like a big light bulb went off in my head and I discovered that I am valuable, and lovable just as I am, and them I put out positive happy energy, and started attracting the same thing in the friends I now have...It is like magic when you look deep inside yourself, and be who you were created to be...Now life and Friends are amazing and I can honestly say now i have true Authentic friends that I choose to have in my life, that I can be honest and open with and they except me... flaws and all.
I wish there was some way I could teach this to teens because teens just want to fit in and be excepted even by fair whether friends that would through them under the bus in a heart beat. knowing what I no now hopeful I can instill some of these lessons in my children, and even if they don't listen now some day they will understand.
I want to encourage you today to look into your heart and see if you to have true authentic friends in your life, and if you do reach out to them today and tell them how much you love and value there friendship, and the people that you think are your friends... but are not I encourage you not to give them any space in your life (Get rid of the bad seeds in your life and make room for positive happy like minded people like you) What ever energy you put out is the energy you will get back and attract...So attract a match for you today, and if you already have great match's of friends hold on to them.
Peace and Love Always, Ursula
To assist myself and you for change through lots of Love and taking you on a diary of how I do my life

Allowing Gratitude
Good Morning,
Allowing Gratitude to be the focal point of your life... even when there are those days that are a struggle...Monday for some reason the last two weeks have been that way for me having a hard time focusing on gratitude, and blessings and realizing someones choices do not have to affect me the way I use to let them effect me... even if its your kid.
I have been having a lot of breakthroughs lately on not blaming myself for someone Else's actions I can guide and lead them in the right direction but they are the one that has to learn to say No and make right choices for there self. Your kids are going to have to be able to learn to make decisions for there self even if they keep making bad decisions, eventually they will learn what path they are going to take, and as hard as that is as a mother to watch... it is just life.
I remember now that I'm going through stuff with my son, and what I did at that age and how I thought I new it all, and there was nothing that my parents could say that would change my mind, and I always wanted to be with my friends, and how I didn't think about the consciouses of my actions...I just wanted to have fun and party and be with my friends and star at cute boys.
So I'm saying this to myself, and to any of you that could be going through some hard times take it one day at a time, and try not to overreact, and allow your kid to explain why they did what they did even if it makes no sense to you. Give them the tough love discipline they need, and then move on don't waste your days stressed and worried and about the things you cant control, we were all teenagers once, and thank God we all survived and I know if I focus on one day at a time that I will have enough strength to get through anything I need to. I know that deep down inside my son will also know that I Love him no matter what and he will follow what is right eventually, because he is an amazing kid. Hug your kids today, and tell them how much you Love them.
Peace, and Love Always, Ursula

TEENS
Good Morning,
Do you ever wonder as a mom whether or not you are doing the right thing as far as raising your kids and guiding and leading them in the right direction?
I guess we will never truly know weather or not we are doing the right thing until they move out and say the words we long to here"Mom Dad you were wonderful parents and we love you" The reason I'm talking about this today is because while I'm starting to go through the horrible teen stuff that I'm dealing with with my oldest son. I want to keep the hope and faith that everything will be OK with him and he will see the light, and know that we did everything that we could for him , and more, and now he is starting the bad stage of sneaking out.
I had no idea what to expect going through the rough years everyone has a different story's, and my mom use to say to me what ever you do to me you will get it back when you have kids. 15 seems to be the age that there hormones are going crazy, and they want to be excepted by there friends ,and for some reason they forget to say NO when there friends come knocking on there window in the middle of the night you do everything to secure your house and yet they still manage to find a way out, thinking that running around the streets in the middle of the night is fabulous not thinking about what kind of trouble they could get into only thinking about staying up all night and having fun.
Then us as parents are assuming everything is OK we are all in bed and you get a call in the middle of the night saying they have your son in the back of a cop car... Imagine for a minute how that feels as a parent to get that kind of call when you think your child is sleeping. I'm praying for peace, and strength knowing this too shall pass.
Someday I will look back at this time and realize We survived, and hopefully this will teach him a huge life lesson, and its never to late to turn things around.
Peace and Love Always, Ursula

Summer Break
Good Morning,
wow, I have seventeen days, and the kids will be on there summer break lots to do before that happens. Must work as much as possible before that happens, and thank God... I do have a backyard office for the Summer to have some quiet, and watch them swim while I work...How wonderful is that. My daughter can say look at me mom, as she always does, and I can be on a phone call, and see her through the window over looking the pool.
I woke up with so much Gratitude in my heart today knowing that I get to be my kids camp leader this Summer... yet once again, and I get to make sure that I keep them busy, and happy, and of course well fed, since that is all they do all summer long . The more swimming, boating, hiking, and camping you do the hungrier they seem to be, so not only am I the camp leader, driver, planner, I'm the camp cook...Luckily they do cook as well.
I always thought it would be great to have kids, and be the one that raises them as well, not missing anything, and that dream has come true for me there are days at the beginning of the summer that seem hard, but then we seem to mold into a routine, and it all works out. My oldest son is a night owl he prefers staying up all night, and waking up at noon, and the two younger ones like to go to bed at 10:00 or 11:00pm and wake up by nine am so working around my oldest son gets challenging sometimes. So I get to keep him really busy during the day so that hopefully he will be to tired he wont want to stay up all night...We shall see. Each kid of mine are so different it is amazing.
My daughter is the planner, organizer, everything has to be perfect, and always has to be busy, Boys are very lay ed back as long as they have food, and computer, and video games... they are happy. So you see my challenge for the summer will be to get them away from computer, and Video games and keep them active and healthy, and so tired by the end of the day they Drop early, and not stay up all night.
Peace and Love always, Ursula

Folow the bright side of life
Good Morning,
Pouring rain right now outside my window so peaceful and relaxing. For me I love the sound of rain and the smell of the air when it rains it seems so clean and fresh to me. I love to open the windows and bake, and clean my house on rainy days...Don't ask me why I guess its some sort of therapy for me when it rains.
We all handle life and situations in different ways memories of what are parents did and creating new things that work for us. Do you ever wonder why we do the things we do? and why we like the things we like? We are all so different and we all need to celebrate that and find out what are purpose on this earth is. there is much to celebrate in life if we choose to focus on the things we love.
Yesterday I have to say was a big struggle for me to stay positive, and that is not like me, but do you every feel that sometimes you have to allow yourself to feel your feelings, and cry and do whatever you have to do, and then cleanse yourself from that and then move on, because today is another day and brighter days are on there way.
I found myself focusing on all the bad situations that happened this last week and attracting that energy to my life and over analyzing situations that are out of my control and that is my past way of handling things. So today I recommit to live healthy, abundant, positive, happy, and laughing as much as possible, and I choose no longer to give negative thoughts or energy a place in my life...That is not the way to live, and only creates tired sad days, and I will no longer be a victim to that life style. much easier to laugh then frown.
I am in control of my thoughts feelings, and actions, mind, body, and soul, and no one has the power to take that from me unless I give my power away. I choose to live life as a powerful, beautiful woman... owning my power daily loving god myself, husband, family, and friends...With peace that passes all human understanding, and allowing God to use me how he chooses. Brighter days are here and today is the first day of the rest of my life, and I claim a new bright beginning following my passion, and my heart to guide, and lead me to a bright beautiful loving happy life. do something great for yourself today and please always allow yourself to look at the bright things in life. let your spirit guide and lead you in the right peaceful direction.

Dealing with Teens
Good Morning,
Had a great busy weekend with my family lots going on. Dance pictures for my daughter, BBQ Party afterwards, and took the kids fishing. next day daughter volunteered at church nursery, and my friend brought my son some African tortoises... because he loves animals. they have to have a heating lamp temp has to stay 75-80 degrees.
Went to the Latino expo and Brian won a palm cell phone with a 125.00 gift card ...Abundance I love it. Life is busy but great there is always so much to do. today is catching up on sheets and laundry lots of cleaning to do.
very humid here today lots of dry air. windows, and doors get to stay open hoping for some kind of breeze to come.
Soon School will be out, and I get to get real creative to keep my teens from getting into trouble and keeping them off the streets. my fifteen year old is at the age that he needs to have positive things to do to stay out of trouble. life is so busy with three teens... what was I thinking having them so close, they are either going to kill me or I'm going to keep getting stronger and smarter then them while there hormones are raging.....HELP.
All kidding aside... I will survive no matter what comes my way even tough love. we will be getting a new security system for are home so when they try to sneak out they cant, they will not know the code. Whatever it takes to keep them safe and off the streets we will do.
teens have so many peer pressure influences that all we can do is watch them and lead them and guide them in the right direction, and pray alot. Keep them as busy as possible so that they don't have time or energy to get into trouble.

The to do list
Good Morning,
Sometimes we get so many things going on that its hard to focus on the big picture of which one is the most important. I have been struggling in this area so much this week trying to figure out which business to give my full attention to, and what my family needs, and what I need. Do you ever feel like your to do list for the day is impossible.
Some weeks are like this for me, and for some reason this week has been packed full of so much to do, and there are only so many hours in the day. People assume since you work from home that you sit around, and eat, and have a relaxing life. Yes we do have a great life working from home but it takes alot of hours if you want it to be successful, and some days I just don't feel there is enough hours.
The house has to be kept up, yard, laundry, errands, kids activities, and a healthy meal on the table by 5:00pm....When I think about everything I do in a day I get tired, and feel ready for a vacation. For some reason when mom is not home the house falls apart. We have a way of making everything work, and making everything great...But sometimes like this week it gets a little draining, so this is where I get to take some time for positive thinking for myself, and realize that I am only one person, and if everything doesn't get done... that's where the teenagers get to step in and do the chores.
My daughter loves laundry and in the summer when shes home that's what she loves to do, my boys on the other hand do not like chores so its more of a struggle. I have to fight with myself to make them do it consistently even if they don't do it, like I think it should be done. My personality is to do everything, because then I know its all done right, and that is not good, so i work with my kids daily to get them to learn how we work as a family, and get it all done together.
I'm learning to take the pressure off myself daily, and allowing them to take over more, and focusing on my Business more, and less on the perfect house, because after all there will never be a perfect house, it will always be lived in. Learning to let go as a mom has been very challenging for me. I have always done everything, and been a high achiever, and to let go of responsibilities is huge for me, but I know they need to do chores in order to grow and learn and be able to take care of your home.
So let go Lady's out there, and let your children learn how to clean, and take care of a home and even cook once in awhile. I know that the moms that work outside the home there kids have to learn...so that's great. I'm learning lessons everyday and doing my best to stay on task , and not worry about tomorrow, today is all I have to be concerned with.
We can take care of ourselves first as moms and not feel guilty for it...you deserve to make your needs a priority, and then and only then can you have enough to give to anyone else. learning to love yourself, and take care of yourself and not everyone else all the time will free your spirit to soar and create the life that works well for all of you. because after all you know the saying" If moms not happy no one else is in the family" So I encourage myself and you to take the pressure off yourself, and only do what you can do , and don't feel guilty if everything on your to do list doesn't get done there is always tomorrow.
Peace, and Love Always, Ursula
